After the OPEC-decision of 8-3 not to cut the capacities, the price of crude oil has been fallen again after the moderate increases of the last weeks. Currently, the listings on crude oil of the brand "WTI" are just over the U.S. $ 60.00 mark in New York. There was no surprise of the OPEC meeting in Vienna. The official capacity of 28 million barrel per day is kept in future, too.

After an entry of the U.S. energy ministry about increasing stock levels, at first the prices of crude oil in New York came under the U.S. $ 60.00 mark to then rise considerably again after an opposite entry of the American Petroleum Institute (API) . Noting down the contracts on the brand "West Texas Intermediate" at more than U.S. $ 61.00/barrel currently, noted down for North-Sea-Oil "Brent" at almost U.S. $ 59.00 in London.

The prices for crude oil at the international stock exchanges move unstoppably in the direction of new highs. While contracts on the U.S. type "WTI" in New York are traded for about U.S. $ 68.50/barrel, North-Sea-Oil "Brent" costs U.S. $ 66.00 in London. At present, there is no lack of negative influence factors at the oil market. Besides the crisis determining everything around the Iranian nuclear weapon programme and further disturbances in Nigeria also extremely low temperatures are added in Middle and Eastern Europe now.

The prices for crude oil go up again. At present contracts on the North Sea brand "Brent" are being sold at more than U.S. $ 63.00, in New York about U.S. $ 64.50/barrel. This has been the highest level for almost three months. Much indicates that the prices of crude oil will increase further in the course of this year.
