Water-soluble foils are versatile, practical, and environmentally friendly, offering advantages in many applications, particularly when it comes to hygiene, precise dosing, and more.
Water-soluble foil is ideal for intelligent and practical packaging and dosing of powders, tablets, and granules. The foil provides excellent oxygen barrier protection and completely dissolves in water.
Practical, eco-friendly, and offering perfect dosing—our water-soluble bags are packaged in PE foil/bags within a carton. To protect against moisture, each bag is individually wrapped.
Water-soluble foil made from PVOH (polyvinyl alcohol) is biodegradable and can sustainably replace traditional packaging. These water-soluble films and bags are made from PVOH.
Once dissolved in water, PVOH foil is biodegradable. Microorganisms in wastewater treatment plants convert the solution into carbon dioxide and water.
Published tests with concentrations of 500 mg of PVOH per 1000 ml showed no harmful effects on live fish. When incinerated, PVOH film burns completely into CO2 and water, leaving no residue.
Product Compatibility
Our water-soluble foils are made from PVOH (polyvinyl alcohol). This material can undergo a chemical reaction with the product being packaged. To ensure compatibility with nearly all materials and meet the requirements of various applications and industries, we have developed a range of specially formulated PVOH foils.
To maintain the foil’s properties even after extended storage and ensure it dissolves quickly in water, we have developed a process to test material compatibility with water-soluble foil.
To protect against moisture, these foils are individually wrapped. Please ensure the water-soluble foils are properly stored after use and avoid exposing them to extreme humidity or temperature fluctuations.
Ideal storage conditions are between 10-20°C with a relative humidity of 30-60%. Water-soluble foils are versatile, practical, and environmentally friendly, offering benefits in many applications, especially when it comes to hygiene, precise dosing, and more.
